Loretta M. Hartmann, age 81, formerly of New Holstein, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at St. Paul's Elder Services in Kaukauna. The former Loretta Bastian was born January 22, 1933, in Chicago to the late James & Loretta (Fox) Bastian. On May 5, 1971, she married Frank Hartmann. Loretta worked for Dr. Laramie for many years. In addition, she helped her husband farm in the area and worked at the Calumet Homestead. Loretta delivered Meals on Wheels to the local residents for a few years. Survivors include her husband, Frank; her son and daughter-in-law, Dan (Liz) Hartmann of Appleton. She is further survived by her in-laws, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and a brother. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, February 9, 2014, at the Sippel Funeral Home 2618 Altona Avenue New Holstein, WI 53061. Pastor Patrick Ryan will officiate.
