Lorraine C. Johnson, age 92, of Garrow Villa in Brillion, formerly of Reedsville, died on Thursday, November 4, 2010. She was born on Nov. 11, 1917 in Oregon, WI daughter of the late Brevet and Laura (Christiansen) Johnson. Lorraine worked for Normington Dry Cleaners and Holy Family Hospital in Manitowoc. She loved to crochet and collect post cards. She was a former member of Zion United Methodist Church in Reedsville and was currently a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Brillion, and was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Women. Survivors include two sisters, Clarice Schulz of Reedsville, Alberta B. Streckert of Green Bay, her nieces and nephews, Renee Seiler, Laura (Joel) Larsen, Marla (James) Vogel, and Ann (John) Boland, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers-in-law Milford Schulz and Orman Streckert, and a nephew James C. Seiler. Memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 14 at 3:00 p.m. at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion. The Rev. Susan Safford-Gaul will officiate. After cremation and memorial service, Lorraine will be laid to rest along side her parents in the historical Rutland E.U.B. Cemetery in Oregon, WI.
