LuAnn Haensgen, age 55, of Fond du Lac (St. Peter), died peacefully in the arms of her husband, Mark, at the Hospice Home of Hope on Sunday, November 3, 2013, from a lengthy drawn out illness.
The former LuAnn Sesing was born January 13, 1958, to the late Alex & Marie (Dreifuerst) Sesing. She graduated from New Holstein High School and received her Associates Degree in accounting from Moraine Park Technical College.
LuAnn worked at Fox Valley Savings & Bank in Fond du Lac and in later years was forced to retire due to her health.
She enjoyed watching her pandas and eagles on the computer web cams.
Survivors include her husband, Mark; her eight brothers and sisters, Judy Lohse of Armstrong (special friend, Gene), John (Mary) Sesing of Mount Calvary, Sue (Lloyd) Klapperich of New Holstein, Mary (George) Miller of Mount Calvary, Joe (Audrey) Sesing of Mount Calvary, Joan Sesing Lenz of Ithaca, NY (Fiancé, Paul), Kay Sesing of Mount Calvary, and Ted Sesing of Chilton; her mother-in-law, Rosemary Haensgen of Fond du Lac; her in brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Allan Haensgen (special friend, Sally Freiberg) of Chicago, Dennis (Michelle) Haensgen of Fond du Lac (Taycheedah), Duane (Mary) Haensgen of New Holstein, Laurie (Steve) Hull of Germany, Lynn (Jim) Watry of Fond du Lac (Pipe), Gary (Michelle) Haensgen of Rosendale, and Lisa (Chris) Olig of Fond du Lac.
LuAnn is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Alex & Marie Sesing; her brother, Charles (Chuck) Sesing; two nephews, Corey Sesing & Thomas Klapperich; and her father-in-law, Alfred Haensgen.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at St. Isidore Parish – Holy Cross Church 308 County Road W Mount Calvary, WI 53057. Rev. Gary Wegner OFM Cap will officiate.
Family and friends may call at the church on Wednesday afternoon from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
Memorials in LuAnn's name may be directed for the Hospice Home of Hope or to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
