Lynabelle H. Sukowaty

Lynabelle H. Sukowaty, 77 of Cato, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Monday, August 2, 2010 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St. John St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville. Visitation will be held before the funeral service from 9 a.m. " 11 a.m. at the church. Mrs. Lynabelle Sukowaty was born on August 1, 1933 at the homestead of Theodore and Lily (Furhmann) Krepline. Lynabelle was confirmed on March 30, 1947 at St. Peters Evangical Lutheran Church, Collins. Lynabelle married the late Andrew William Sukowaty on November 6, 1954 at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. She raised her family and worked on their farm together in Shoto and later moved to Cato. After her husband Andrew passed away in 1984, Lynabelle went to school to become a nurses aide and care giver for many years. She worked at Shady Lane, Manitowoc, Northridge Nursing Home, Manitowoc and Country Care, Reedsville. She was active in 4-H and Ladies Aid. Lynabelle enjoyed crocheting, putting puzzles together, sitting on her deck watching the humming birds, and playing with her dog, Buffy and kitten, Lily. She had a lively spirit with a spunk that kept us laughing until her last breath. She loved spending time with her family and talking about the good times and making beautiful memories. Survivors include: five sons and three daughters-in-law, Stanley and Laurie, De Pere, Wayne, Cato, Ronald, Cato, Jerry & Jeri, De Pere, and Gary and Terri, Taus; six daughters and two sons-in-law, Barb McCredie, Manitowoc, Judy and Glen Abel, Brillion, Kay and Blane Knutson, Wausau, Debra Sukowaty and Tom Tadych, Manitowoc, Jennifer Sukowaty, Sheboygan, and Amy Sukowaty, Appleton; one brother and five sisters-in-law, Leeland and Mary Lou Krepline, Brillion, Ida May Krepline, Brillion, Irene Pawalish, Manitowoc, Amelda (Babs) Sukowaty, St. Nazianz, and Rosela Wellert, Manitowoc; twenty grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew W. Sukowaty, a daughter, her parents, two brothers, Rolland Krepline, and Orville Krepline, four brothers-in-law, six sisters-in-law, and one grandchild, Kraig McCredie.
