Lynn D. Jones, of New Holstein, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton.

She was born March 13, 1945, to Ervin ''Spec'' & Antonia (Mertes) Leon. Lynn attended Holy Rosary Catholic Grades School and graduated from New Holstein High School. Upon graduation from New Holstein High School, she attended Marquette University and graduated with a degree in speech pathology.

While attending school at Marquette, she married Robert ''Bob'' Wilberscheid on August 20, 1966. Their daughter, Kristin was born November 7, 1967. The family moved to New Holstein where Lynn began teaching within the New Holstein School District. Following teaching in the district, Lynn built and operated Auntie Fanny's Fitness Center in New Holstein which she operated for over 25 years until her retirement.

It was while owning the fitness center, Lynn met her best friend & soulmate, Scott Jones; they were married on June 5, 1992. Their son, William ''Bill'' was born April 26, 1994.

Lynn was an energetic and positive person who maintained many life-long friendships. She was a loving and supportive partner to Scott, and a wonderful mother to Kristin & Bill.

Survivors include her husband, Scott; her daughter, Kristin Leon (Tom) of Appleton; her son, Bill Jones of Wauwatosa; her sister, Joyce Mooney of Cedarburg; her brother-in-law, Tim (Nancy) Jones. She is further survived by other relatives and many friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Visitation: Family and friends may visit with Lynn's family at the Sippel Funeral Home, 2618 Altona Avenue New Holstein, WI 53061 on Sunday, November 13, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
