Marcella Agnes Barth, age 96, of Brillion, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 surrounded by her family, at Garrow Villa in Brillion. Marcella was born on January 12, 1919 in the town of Glenmore, daughter of the late John and Susan (Morris) Moran. On July 1, 1942, she married Edward J. Barth at St. Francis Catholic Church in De Pere. He preceded her in death on April 11, 1975. Marcella farmed with her husband until his death. Following his death, she moved to Brillion and worked at the Canning Factory and cleaned at First Northern Bank and the Library. Marcella also helped her grandchildren with their paper routes, played bridge, and especially loved to spend time with her family. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, De Pere in her early years, and later of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Holy Family Catholic Church. Marcella is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Joe and Sandi Barth of Reedsville; grandchildren: Stacey Barth of Reedsville, Stefanie (Scott) Smeltser and children: Joseph and Jonathan of Blakesburg, IA, and Christopher (Amanda) Barth and children: Gabrielle, Bryce, Bryant, and Lucas of New Holstein; two brothers and two sisters-in-law: James (Patricia) Moran of De Pere and Robert (Janet) Moran of New Franken; one sister-in-law: Cecelia Moran of Rudolph; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward; two sisters and two brothers-in-law: Margaret (Adrian) Kerkhoff and Katherine (Marvin) Roffers; and two brothers and five sisters-in-law: Jack (Esther) Moran, Clarence (Clara) Moran, Margaret (Gordan) Stern, Celia (Edward) Rank, and Bernice Flament; and other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. A Memorial Mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 24, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. Officiating will be the Rev. Timothy Brandt. Friends may call at the church on Thursday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A prayer service will conclude the evening visitation. Gathering will continue on Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Online condolences may be made.
