Margaret I. Feider, age 69, of New Holstein, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on Monday, September 11, 2017, at Willowdale Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in New Holstein.
The former Margaret Buechel was born November 8, 1947 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac to the late Alphonse and Theresa (Heimann) Buechel.
Margaret married William Feider on August 19, 1972, and together they welcomed their daughters Sarah and Angela.
Margaret was a wife and mother who valued her time spent with her family. She loved to spend her time tending to her flower beds and sewing. The mulititude of quilts she made were given as treasured gifts or donated to a charity organization called Project Linus.
She was a dedicated employee of Chilton High School for 13 years where she was a teacher aide with the special needs children.
Margaret is survived by her husband, William and her daughter, Sarah (Thomas) Bucek of Milwaukee and Angela (Zachary) Hoefner of Chilton; six grandchildren, Cole, Oliver, Brady, Olivia, Annabel and Melodie; her brothers and sisters, Paul (Pat) Buechel, Patricia Basler, Donna (Allen) Karls, Martin (Arlene) Buechel and Alan (Susan) Buechel; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Paul (Julie) Feider, Joanne (James) Lueder, Christine Thome, Charles (Julie) Feider, Henry (Denise) Feider, and Andrew (Meg) Feider. She is further survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
Preceding Margaret in death were her parents, Alphonse and Theresa Buechel; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wilmer and Marcella Feider; and Brothers-in-law, John Basler and Thomas (Pam) Feider.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1724 Madison Street, New Holstein, WI 53061. Margaret will be laid to rest in the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation: Family and friends may greet the family at Holy Rosary Church on Saturday, September 16th from 9:00 AM until 12:00 Noon.
