Marie V. Wegner, age 59, of Fond du Lac, passed away at her home May 26, 2013. She was born September 19, 1953 in Fond du Lac, to the late Alois E. Blonigen and Alice M. (Sippel) Blonigen. She graduated from New Holstein High School in 1971. Marie worked for 28 years in assembly at Wells MFG. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. Survivors include her companion of 20 years, Robert G. Michels of Fond du Lac; her mother, Alice M. Blonigen of Mt. Calvary; her daughter, Jessica M. Wegner of Fond du Lac; two grandchildren, Caleb A. Higgins and Cailey M. Wegner; her twin brother, Mark (Elaine) Blonigen of Waukesha; sisters, Carol (Jeff) Dowland of Mt. Calvary, Jean (Joe) Keuler of Chilton, Joyce (Tom) Jahns of Fond du Lac, Monica (Steve) Lieffring of Elkhart Lake, and Kay (Bill) Wells of Waukesha. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death was her father, Alois E. Blonigen in 1994. A Liturgy of the Word will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the Sippel Funeral Home, 1311 Thorp Street St. Cloud, WI. Rev. Oliver Bambenek OFM Cap. will officiate.
