Marilyn B. Kleist

Marilyn B. Kleist, age 76 of Potter, died unexpectedly on Monday April 22, 2013 at her home. She was born on February 1, 1937, daughter of the late Wilmer and Holdina (Fuhrmann) Dallmann. She married Gordon Kleist on September 28, 1957 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul. She farmed with her husband in the Town of Rantoul and volunteered at Bethesda Thrift Store. She enjoyed bus trips to the casino, going up north and playing cards. Marilyn was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul. Survivors include her children, Brenda (Dale) Mertz of Hilbert, Tim (Doreen) Kleist of Brillion, Beth (Wil) Hewins of Hilbert, Rick Kleist of Potter, 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon on November 23, 1986, 2 brothers and 1 sister-in-law Gerald (Donna) Dallmann and Lloyd Dallmann. Funeral service will be held on Friday April 26, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul. The Rev. Timothy Benninghoff will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
