Marilyn A. Stache, age 88, of Hilbert, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Brillion West Haven.
Marilyn, daughter of the late Herman & Norma (Beil) Stecker, was born on March 4, 1936, with her twin sister Mariann at their parents’ home in Hilbert. She was a graduate of Hilbert High School, class of 1954. On June 11, 1955, Marilyn married Allen Stache in Potter. He preceded her in death on May 22, 2016. Marilyn was employed at Mirro Foley Aluminum Foundry in Chilton until her retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, fishing, and spending time with her family. Marilyn and her twin sister spent a lot of time together. They would often wear the same outfit and participate in a lot of the same hobbies. She and Mariann were members of the “Stecker Family Trio” and would spread the love of Jesus Christ through song and perform for the residents in local nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Marilyn was also called to spread the word and love of Jesus with her husband Allen. The couple would go on New Tribes Mission Trips to several countries throughout the world such as Africa, Ireland, and Brazil. She always kept her relationship with God as one of the most important relationships of her life and oftentimes would say, “It’s in God’s hands.”
