She was born June 8, 1950, in Sheboygan to the late Donald & Madeline (Best) Spletter. Marsha graduated from New Holstein High School in 1968 and from Marian College in Fond du Lac in 1972.

On March 3, 1973, she married James Lisowe, son of the late Ambrose & Lorna (Stecker) Lisowe, at St. John United Church of Christ in New Holstein.

In addition to raising her children, Marsha helped alongside her husband with the daily chores of running the farm.

Marsha enjoyed playing dartball, bowling, playing cards, putting together jig-saw puzzles, and playing board games with her children and grandchildren. An occasional trip to a local casino was something she looked forward to as well as watching the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers games.
