Marvin F. Dutkievic Sr., age 76, of Malone "Calumetville" died unexpectedly at his home Tuesday, May 08, 2012 after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was born December 7, 1935 in the Town of Brothertown in Calumet County, a son to the late John Sr. & Ida (Rothmann) Dutkievic. Marvin graduated from Chilton High School in 1953. He served in the US Army from January 1956 to January 1959. Marvin worked at Ralston Purina in Fond du Lac for most of his life. Following retirement, he worked for the Fond du Lac City Park Department. He was an avid sportsman and liked the outdoors. Marvin was a friend to all that knew him. Survivors include his eight children, Duane Dutkievic of Malone "Calumetville", Teresa (Steve) Samuel of Fond du Lac, Debbie Schaefer of Fond du Lac, Pete Dutkievic of Fond du Lac and his special friend, Kim Stoegbauer, Marvin Jr. (Sandra) Dutkievic of Kingwood, TX, Susan Dutkievic of Ripon, Mary (Jason) Brewer of Fond du Lac, and Bonnie Thibadeau of Fond du Lac; 11 grandchildren, Ashley & Shelley Samuel, Shauna & Joe Schaefer, Andrew Dutkievic, Heather Mielke, Devan & Benjamin Brewer, and Amanda, Joelle, and Simon Thibadeau; a great-granddaughter, Morgan Rohde; three brothers, Edward Dutkievic of St. Anna, John Jr. (Judy) Dutkievic of Malone "Calumetville", and Dale Dutkievic of Fond du Lac; numerous nieces & nephews; and his close four legged companion, Tia. Preceding him in death were his parents; and three brothers. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 11, 2012 at the Sippel Funeral Home, 2618 Altona Avenue in New Holstein. Burial will be in the Rothmann Cemetery in the Town of Calumet.
