Mary Ann Zorn, age 88, of Brillion, entered into eternal life on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton following a short illness with her family by her side.
Mary Ann was born on June 21, 1927 in Sheboygan Falls, daughter of the late Alfred and Lillian (Holzschuh) Burich. On February 6, 1948, the couple was married. They then moved to Milwaukee. Mary Ann worked at Gimbels Department Store as an elevator operator for many years. Chet and Mary Ann lived in Delafield from 1951 to 1965, and in 1965, they moved to Whitewater and ran a business together until their retirement. In 2003, the couple returned to Brillion. Mary Ann enjoyed bowling in her younger years, watching sports, mailing birthday cards to friends, talking on the telephone for this was a lifeline for her to stay connected with everyone, and was known for her cheesecake. She loved visiting with Chet at West Haven and spending time with her family.
