Obituary

Mary Angela (Boese) Bohannon, age 89, formerly of New Holstein, passed away on August 29, 2010 in Richmond, IN where she had resided for the past six years. She was the wife of the late Robert T. Bohannon. Angie was born in Oklahoma City, OK August 25, 1921; and was raised in St. Cloud, MN. After graduating from The College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, MN, Angie worked as a flight attendant for Northwest Airlines until she was married in 1949. Angie is survived by her four children, Marydella Kamper (William), of Muncie, IN; Marjorie E. Hartman (Dr. Alan) of Richmond, IN; Robert T. Bohannon (Teresa) of Manassas, VA; and Patrick J. Bohannon (Karen) of Aurora, IL.; nine grandchildren: Joseph R. Carlson (Michele), Quinten Bohannon (Jessica), Sarah Hartman, Jacqueline Hartman, Heather Whitehead, Katie Pullen, Jennell Little, Allison Bohannon, Jessica Bohannon and one great-granddaughter, Evelyn Bohannon. She is also survived by her brother Joseph Boese (Dorothy) of Duluth, MN, a sister, Rita St. Onge of Lubbock, TX, her brother-in-law, Jack Westall (Carol) and sister-in-law, Ann Ford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Bohannon and one grandson, Kyle Bohannon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 3, 2010 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1724 Madison Street, in New Holstein. Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Sippel Funeral Home 2618 Altona Avenue in New Holstein on Thursday, September 2nd from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and at the funeral home Friday morning from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM when brief family rites will be held at the funeral home. The children would like to extend their heartfelt thank you to the staff at Arbor Trace home in Richmond, IN for their care and support of their mother.
