Mary E. Casper, age 73, of Marytown, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021. She was born August 31, 1947 to Norbert and Helen (Theobald) Janty in Sheboygan. She went to Elkhart Lake schools and graduated in 1965. Mary was an avid sports fan watching all Wisconsin teams including local high school teams. She enjoyed crafting and crocheting for her family. Mary also loved to plant and display many types of succulents. She enjoyed the festivities of the holidays and spending them with her family. Mary worked many years at Lulloff Hardware and as the Town of Calumet Clerk. On October 26, 1974, she married Kenneth Casper at St. George Catholic Church in Elkhart Lake. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; three children Joseph Casper of New Holstein, Sarah (Jason) Casper-Due of Hobart, Gina (Chris) Kraus of Fond du Lac; 5 grandchildren Olivia, Mikalah, Lilliana (Sarah), Jackson and Harper (Gina); brother John (Susan) Janty. She is further survived by many other relatives. Preceding her in death were her parents, Norbert and Helen Janty; sister, Pauline Janty; In-laws, Gilbert and Marie Casper and other family members. A Liturgy of the Word Service will be held at 5:30 PM on Friday, February 26, 2021, at the Sippel Funeral Home, 2618 Altona Avenue, New Holstein, WI 53061.
