Mary Rita Zeller, age 71, of Brillion was ushered into heaven by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. Mary endured a brief journey with cancer throughout the past year.
She was born on November 14, 1949 in Chilton, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Elwin and Lillian (Parsons) Tasch. She married Terry Zeller on April 18, 1992, and they enjoyed 29 years together in their home in the Brillion countryside. Mary served as an incredibly passionate RN caregiver throughout her career. After her retirement in 2009, Mary continued her passion on the front lines as she served on medical mission trips to Haiti and Mexico as well as providing care for shut-ins within the local communities. Mary also enjoyed the great outdoors. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed traveling to the warmer climates with family and friends.
Mary is survived by her husband Terry, 2 children: daughter Sherri Murray (Mark Stonebraker) Grove City, Pennsylvania, son Brian (Sally) Breckheimer, Sherwood, 7 grandchildren: Britney Breckheimer, Branden Breckheimer, Mason Murray, Hannah Breckheimer, Dylan Stonebraker, Olivia Nicole Murray, Olivia Rose Stonebraker, 5 brothers: Michael (Barb) Tasch, Stephen (Diane) Tasch, Nicholas (Dorothy) Tasch, Kenneth (Deb) Tasch, Timothy (Linda) Tasch, Brother-in-law: David Arnold, other in-laws: Paula Kettner, Glenn Zeller, Lu Ann Stehula, and Kay (Jack) Mullins, many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents: Elwin and Lillian, sister: Barbara Arnold, brother: Joseph Tasch, father-in-law and mother-in-law: Herbert and Janetta Zeller, and brother-in-law: Paul Kettner.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 19, 2021 at St. John St. James Ev. Lutheran Church in Reedsville. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Darin Aden.
Friends may call at the Pielhop Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion on Thursday evening, November 18, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The visitation will continue on Friday morning at church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
Grandma Mary so adored her grandkids as they loved onto her through to the end as she passed into eternal peace.
