Melvin R. Beattie, age 71, of New Holstein, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 12, 2017, at his home. He was born October 7, 1946, in New London to George & Edith (Dexter) Beattie. Survivors include his two children, Tiffany (Brian) Peters of Windsor, WI and Bradley Beattie of Beaver Dam; Two Grandchildren, Amanda Peters and Austin Peters; Two Great-Grandchildren, Mya Peters and Alyssa Peters; a former Daughter-in-law, Jill (Rhodes) Beattie; his Sister, Sandy Beattie (Kuckenbecker) and his Brother, Robert (Jane) Beattie. Melvin was preceded in death by his Parents, George & Edith Beattie; a Son, Shannon Beattie; and many siblings. A service will be held at a later date.
