Merlin H. Krueger

December 10, 1944 — July 10, 2014

Merlin H. Krueger, age 69 of Hilbert, joined his daughter in Heaven on Thursday, July 10, 2014. He was born on December 10, 1944 in Wayside, son of the late Gilbert & Cora (Radloff) Krueger. On April 8, 1967 he married Gloria Handrich in Brillion. Merlin worked at the Brillion Iron Works for 42 years, retiring on July 16, 2004. He enjoyed playing cards, shooting pool and being outside. He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hilbert. Survivors include his wife Gloria, his children Tina (Scott) Broehm, Todd (Lauri) Krueger, step children Ron (Kathy) Mittelsteadt, Mark (Sandy) Mittelsteadt, grandchildren, Ashley Broehm, Travis Broehm, Adam Broehm, Austyn Krueger, Kayla Krueger, Thomas Mittelsteadt, Michael Hmielewski, Allen Mittelsteadt and Jamie Mittelsteadt, great grandchildren, Amelia Mittelsteadt, Aiden Paulson, Isaiah Balderas and Noah Balderas, his brothers and sister, Harold (Faye) Krueger, Gilbert Krueger, Willard (Lana) Krueger, Diane (Arthur) Kratz and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Corinna and a sister-in-law Jan Krueger. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday July 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hilbert. The Rev. Timmothy Heath will officiate. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
