Merlin E. Stanelle

Merlin E. Stanelle, age 85, of Hilbert, died on Tuesday October 23, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. He was born July 29, 1927 in Forest Junction, son of the late Sulvan & Edna (Zuelke) Stanelle. He married Lorna Mueller on October 13, 1957. Merlin farmed in the Town of Brillion until his retirement. He was an avid Packer and Brewer fan and enjoyed bowling and card playing. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Forest Junction. Survivors include his children, Kevin Stanelle and friend Laura of Green bay, Kendall Stanelle of Kaukauna, Kent (Susan) Stanelle of Greenleaf, Kurt (Theresa) Stanelle of Brillion, Lorelei (Ron) Wyman of Little Chute, 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, a brother Darrell (Eldora) Stanelle of Brillion and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Gilbert. Memorial service will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Monday October 29, 2012 at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion. The Rev.
