Michael J. Gretz, age 62 of Brillion, died unexpectedly on Tuesday August 7, 2012 at Aurora Baycare Medical Center in Green Bay. He was born on Feb. 20, 1950 in Denmark, son of the late Frank and Caroline (Holl) Gretz. He married Theresa Perron on December 10, 1982 in Manitowoc. Michael worked at the Brillion Iron Works until his retirement. Survivors include his wife Theresa, 2 sons, Richard Gretz of Hilbert, Randy (Erica) Gretz of Appleton, 2 grandsons Charlie and Connor, 5 sisters, Mary Lou (Royal) Cenefelt of Denmark, Monice (Harry) Prince of Manitowoc, Fran Schmook of Kellnersville, Carol Reznichek of Manitowoc, Sally Schisel of Manitowoc, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Paul and Marilyn Wilson of Florida, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Cindy (Richard) Jones, Mike Perron, Jim (Ann) Perron and numerous nieces and nephews. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Alexis Gretz, 3 brothers Jerome, Gale, and Warren Gretz, and a sister Paulette Hoffman. Funeral service will be held on Saturday August 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion. The Rev. Timothy Brandt will officiate.
