Michael J. Smith, age 79, of New Holstein, joyously entered into his heavenly home on Sunday, October 24, 2021. He was born July 5, 1942, to Edward & Laura (Litkowski) Smith. He is survived by his loving wife Pamela (Elmore) Smith; his daughters, Dena Elmore, Teresa (Eric) Holcomb, and Becky (Scott) Pfannkuch; his son, Rob Kilbey (fiancée, Paula Lindsay); 15 grandchildren, Megan, Isabel, Riley, Branson, Jasmine, Lily, Julianne, Kyle, Maddy, Liam, Presten, Brianna, Cohen, McKenna, and Alaina; a great-grandson, Remy; his sister, Shelly (Erv) Wilkowski; a brother-in-law, Bill (Mona) Elmore; and two sisters-in-law, Karen (John) Harp and MaryJo Grinnall. He is further survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends. Michael was preceded in death by his parents; his mother-in-law, Barbara Kraft; his brother-in-law, Daryl Grinnall. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Zion Lutheran Church, 1702 Van Buren Street, New Holstein, WI 53061. Rev. Azor Cigelske will officiate.
