Myrtle V. Sabel, 96, of Greenbush, WI died Monday March 22, 2010 at the Homestead Care Center in New Holstein. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly (Jim) Hamilton of Fond du Lac, her son, Eugene (Mary) Sabel of Troy, Ohio; a special friend, Sylvester Halbach of New Holstein; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 3 great-greatgrandchildren; many great friends, cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Elmer Sabel, 4 brothers, 3 sisters and a grandson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday March 29, 2010 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church 94 N. Lincoln Street in Elkhart Lake, WI. Rev. Dennis VanBeek will officiate. Burial will be in St. Fridolin Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Monday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in her name.
