Obituary

Nadine M. Bosma Nadine M. Bosma, 94, of New Holstein, died peacefully Monday, November 14, 2011 at Calumet Medical Center in Chilton. The former Nadine Hoehl was born January 11, 1917 in St. Anna, one of 12 children, of the late John and Susan (Dreifuerst) Hoehl. Nadine attended St. Anna Grade School and graduated form Kiel High School in 1934. On May 29, 1941 she married Melvin Bosma at St. Anna Catholic Church in St. Anna. Melvin passed away September 2, 1991. Nadine worked at the former Leverenz Shoe Company in New Holstein. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein. Nadine served as a former president of the Holy Rosary Christian Women's Society. Survivors include three sons; Richard "Dick" (Sue) Bosma of New Holstein, David (Pat) Bosma of "Brothertown" Chilton, Robert (Kathy) Bosma of New Holstein; eight grandchildren; Amy Bosma, Angie (Bob) Gehred, Brad (Krista) Bosma, Mike (Ann) Bosma, Michelle (Doug) Stephanie, Abbey (Kevin) Heise, Tony Bosma, and Allison Bosma; twelve great-grandchildren, Maxwell, Charlotte, Carter, Greyson, Amelia, Jordan, Lucas, Gracie, Lauren, Kirsten, Ava and Anna; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents John and Susan Hoehl; her husband Melvin Bosma; two great-grand children, Kate and Klara; three brothers, Claude, Edward, Robert, and eight sisters, Martha, Henrietta, Verana, Estelle, Hildegard, Eugenia, Marie, and Ruth. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 5:00 PM on Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 1724 Madison Street in New Holstein. Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 2:00-4:30 PM Grandma will be remembered for her kindness, her gentle heart, and her unconditional love. She went out of her way to do as many special things as she could for all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. From special camping trips, to playing games and reading stories, to baking cookies and having sleepovers-she provided the most precious memories to each of us. We will carry those memories with us forever, and we will always be grateful for all the happy times we had together.
