Obituary

Nancy A. Petermann, age 71, of rural Brillion, peacefully passed away on July 23, 2026. Nancy was born on March 2, 1955, to the late Edwin and Georgianna (Keller) Petermann. She was a graduate of Brillion High School in 1973.

Nancy worked at the Brillion Iron Works for many years as the coupon checker. When they closed, she went to work at Ariens Co until retirement. In her younger years, she enjoyed snowmobiling, ice skating, ice fishing, and “raising hell.” Later on Nancy enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and going to the races with her brother Dan. She especially loved watching her son, Ryan grow up, going to his races, watching him get married and raise his family, watching the grandchildren play soccer, and visiting Ryan in the shop.

Nancy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Ryan (Hayley) Brandes; grandchildren: Georgia, Jurnee, Renson, and Marley; beloved cats- Burnout and Smoke; siblings: Carol (Melvin) See of Chilton, Gerald “Sonny” Petermann of Brillion, Charlotte Bloemer of Brillion, and Dan Petermann of Brillion; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister: Geraldine Petermann; sister-in-law: Connie Petermann; brother-in-law: Tom Bloemer, and other relatives.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday August 4, 2026 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Brillion. Officiating will be Father Matt Colle and Deacon Greg Van Thiel. Cremation has taken place and burial will be held in Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends from 9:00 am until 10:45 am at the church
