Nancy L. Sebeck, 72, of New Holstein died Wednesday January 27, 2010 at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan. The former Nancy Wendland was born December 5, 1937 in Sheboygan County to the late Edward & Eleanor Gerlach Wendland. Nancy graduated from Elkhart Lake High School in 1955. On May 6, 1961 she married Norbert Sebeck at Community United Church of Christ in Elkhart Lake; he preceded her in death on October 14, 2000. Nancy had worked at Tecumseh Engine Products in New Holstein until retiring in 2000. She loved attending and watching her grandchildren's sporting events, faithfully followed the Brewers and cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. Survivors include her three children, Terri (John) Preissner of Sherwood, Tim Sebeck of New Holstein and Traci (Tom) Petrie of Mount Calvary; her four grandsons, Joshua (Amanda) Preissner, Daniel Preissner and his girlfriend, Sara, Hunter Petrie and Tyler Petrie; her sister, Marilyn Scharinger of Sheboygan; three brothers, Eugene (Jeanette) Wendland of Kansasville, WI, Richard (Noreen) Wendland of St. Anna and James Wendland of Milwaukee; a sister-in-law, Marianne Wendland of Sheboygan Falls; nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Norbert Sebeck; two brothers, Douglas and Keith "Casey" Wendland; a brother-in-law, David Scharinger and a sister-in-law, Lois Sebeck. Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 PM on Sunday January 31, 2010 at the Sippel Funeral Home 2618 Altona Ave. New Holstein. Rev. James E. Werner will officiate. Burial will be in the Fernwood Cemetery in Gladstone, Michigan on Monday morning, February 1 at 1:00 PM (Eastern Time). Family and friends may call at the Sippel Funeral Home in New Holstein on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the time of services.
