Nathalie Tschantz

Nathalie B. Tschantz, age 87 of Brillion, died on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Brillion West Haven. She was born on December 27, 1926 in Michigan, daughter of the late Jesse & Ruth (Gibson) Butler. On April 15, 1950 she married Willard Tschantz at Trinity Episcopal Church in Houghton MI. Nathalie was a telephone operator in Brillion for several years. With the arrival of the kids, Nathalie was a stay at home Mom. After the children were grown, she enjoyed driving for the Calumet County Commission on Ageing. She was a member of St. Ann's Episcopal Church in DePere where she was active in the Alter Guild. Survivors include her husband Willard, her children, Tom Tschantz of St. Paul, MN, James Tschantz of Green bay, Ann Tschantz and her husband Stan of Amherst, an AFS daughter Phillipa Calvert and her husband Alister of New Zealand, 3 grandchildren, Jason, Will and Casey, 2 great grandchildren Aiden and Asher, and friends. She was preceded in death by a grandson James, a sister Elizabeth Jepson and a brother F. Gibson Butler. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 4th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Ann's Episcopal Church, 347 S. Libal St. in DePere. Father Eric Mills will officiate. Burial will be in the Brillion Community Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion on Friday from 5:00-8:00 P.M. and then at the church on Saturday from 12:30 P.M. until the time of mass.
