Nathan “Tater” Loose, age 32, of Oshkosh, suffered in silence while he fought his battle with depression. Nathan made the difficult decision to end his journey on this earth and found peace, December 1, 2023, in a way that we may never understand. Thinking of others before himself, he tried to spare his family and friends from the effects of his decision.
Nathan was born on February 26, 1991, in Appleton, son of Mike and Penny (Krueger) Loose. He was a graduate of Brillion High School, class of 2009. He went on to further his education at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, starting as a surgical tech and then finding his passion in computer web design. Nathan worked at Dealer Inspire in Appleton. Nathan lived in Oshkosh where he came into his own by finding an amazing group of friends. He was very sociable, quick-witted, quirky, intelligent, soft spoken, and just truly loved doing exactly what he wanted to do. Nathan had an infectious personality and was a friend to everyone he knew. He enjoyed skiing, camping, and going out with his friends. Nathan enjoyed being able to come home and spend time with his family, and his love for animals was evident. In his short time on this earth, Nathan made sure to make the most of his life by traveling far and wide creating memories for those lucky enough to be in his presence.
Nathan is survived by his parents: Mike and Penny of Brillion; his brother and sister-in-law: Nick (Jordan) of Brillion; nephews: Carter and Owen; grandparents: Helen Loose of Potter and Roger and Diane Krueger of Athelstane; aunts and uncles: Amy (Dean) Schmitz; Debbie (Jr.) Doughty; Margie (Darrell) Mathiebe; Wendy (Chuck) Schiger; many cousins, other relatives, and friends.
