Norbert J. Hennessey, age 89, a resident of Reedsville, passed away Wednesday morning, June 1, 2022 at West Haven in Brillion.
Norbert was born on June 7, 1932 in Reedsville, son of the late Patrick and Margaret (O’Hearn) Hennessey. On January 19, 2002 he married Donna (Kostechka) Stuiber at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Whitelaw. She preceded him in death on June 12, 2013. Norbert owned and operated the family farm his entire working career. He was a member of the Friends of St. Patrick’s in Maple Grove. Norbert was a devout Catholic and enjoyed leading Bible studies. He was also an avid Green Bay Packer fan and never missed a game in over 50 years.
Survivors include one sister: Marge Bodwin, Reedsville. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his siblings: Kenneth (LaVerne) Hennessey, Roman (Helen) Hennessey, William (Lorraine) (Florence) Hennessey, Jane (Donald) Kalies, Mary (Ed) Vogel; and one brother-in-law: Don Bodwin.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Holy Family Catholic Parish, Brillion. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Tom Pomeroy and Deacon Greg Van Thiel with burial at St. Patrick Cemetery in Maple Grove.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Holy Family Catholic Parish, Brillion, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
