Norbert "Norb" A. Brenner, age 66, of Mount Calvary, WI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, after a short battle with cancer at SSM St. Agnes Hospital surrounded by the love of his family.

Norb was born December 7, 1959, son of the late, Harold & Berthilda "Bertie" (Kolbe) Brenner. He was a graduate of New Holstein High School, class of 1979.

Norb was a farmer through and through, working the family farm with his father and brother Peter that is over 150 years old. The brothers bought the farm and partnered for over 35 years. Waking at dawn to milk the cows and working in the fields until long after sunset. On May 2, 1987, he married Cathleen "Cathy" Hephner at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Chilton. She worked on the farm together with Peter & Cindy. He enjoyed watching the Brewers and Packers, going to the cabin, going on UTV rides with his brothers, going with his wife to different waterfalls, and especially playing with his two granddaughters.

Norbert is survived by his loving wife, Cathleen "Cathy"; three children: Kelly Brenner (David) Estes Park, CO, Steve Brenner of Mount Calvary, and Maria (Tyler) Berenz of St. Cloud, granddaughters: Lyanna and Natalie; step-grandchildren: Ava and Griffin; siblings: Rose (Stan) Klapperich of rural St. Cloud, Joseph (Joan) Brenner, Herman Brenner (Marie Pierquet), and Peter (Cindy) Brenner all of Mount Calvary; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Robert & Angeline Hephner; sister-in-law: Connie Petermann; and other relatives.

Liturgy Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holyland Parish – Holy Cross Site, 308 S. Cty Rd W, Mount Calvary, WI 53057 on Thursday, September 3, 2026. Officiating at the Mass will be Rev. Paul Koenig OFM Cap. Entombment will be at Shrine of Rest Chapel Mausoleum at Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery, Fond du Lac.

Visitation: Family and friends may greet Norb's family Wednesday afternoon at Our Lady of the Holyland Parish – Holy Cross Site, 308 S. Cty Rd W, Mount Calvary, WI 53057 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Visitation will continue on Thursday, September 3 at church from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
