Patricia H (Meiselwitz) Bartel, 73, of Springfield, IL died Friday March 19, 2010 at her residence. The former Patricia Meiselwitz was born March 22, 1936 in Kiel to the late Adolph & Mary Jane Smith Meiselwitz. On April 22, 1957 she married Hubert Bartel in Kiel. Hubert preceded her in death on November 7, 2005. She is survived by her six children, Mike (Tammy) Bartel of Springfield, IL, Patrick (Esther) Bartel of Springfield, IL, Jane Wattier of Jacksonville, NC, Mark Bartel of Springfield, IL, Kerri (Jarrad) Edwards of Marshville, NC and Joe Bartel of Baltimore, MD; 18 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; her in-laws, Andy (Carol) Bartel of Marytown and Gerry (Bartel) Coffeen of New Holstein. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Hubert and her sister, Jane Brownrigg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday March 27, 2010 at St. Mary's Catholic Church N10232 County Road G New Holstein, WI "Marytown". Rev. Joseph Coerber will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of services.
