Patrick J. McGrady, age 76, of New Holstein, WI passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021, at his home with his family at his side following a battle with cancer. He was born June 23, 1944, in Lake Forest, IL to the late James & Esther (Binnie) McGrady. He attended Lake Forest High School in Lake Forest, IL. Patrick worked at Common Wealth Edison in Palatine, IL until his retirement. After retiring, he worked at the American Legion Post 911 in Wauconda, IL. Survivors include his wife, Carol; his three daughters, Kellie McGinn, Tricia (Mike) Willis, and Kris (Tony) Tarello; his grandchildren, Kaleigh & Robert McGinn, Kodee & Desarae Willis, Gianni & Dante Tarello; his step children, Chad (Alicia) Grube, Chris (Jessica) Grube, and Jason (Kathleen) Grube. He is further survived by step grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and his loving constant companions, Dudley & Lily. Preceding him in death were his parents, James & Esther McGrady; an infant daughter, Wendy; four brothers, Alexander "Sandy", Terrance "Terri", Michael "Mickey", Jimmy; and a sister, Grace. Cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
