Randall "Randy" R. Rieder, age 48, of Chicago, formerly of New Holstein passed away unexpectedly from an apparent heart attack on Monday, July 29, 2013. Randy was born October 14, 1964 to Gordon "Smokie" & Janice (Buechel) Rieder. He graduated from New Holstein High School in 1983 and received his Bachelor Degree from UW Madison. For the past 14 years he has been employed with Standard Parking in Chicago. Randy was a member of the University of Wisconsin Alumni Association. He was an avid Green Bay Packer, Wisconsin Badger, and Chicago Cubs fan. As often as he could he would attend baseball games at Wrigley Field. Randy also spent his free time reading which he loved to do and participating in Fantasy Football. Randy is survived by his parents, Gordon "Smokie" & Janice Rieder of New Holstein; his sister, Julie (Scott) Ahlswede of Plymouth; a niece, Sarah Hendrickson and her special friend, Jesse Seider; a nephew, Benjamin Ahlswede; and a step nephew, Brandon Ahlswede He is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Preceding Randy in death were his maternal & paternal grandparents; an aunt; and uncles. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at the Sippel Funeral Home 2618 Altona Avenue New Holstein, WI 53061.
