Raymond G. Pierner
Raymond G. Pierner, 93, of Fond du Lac died Friday, June 28, 2013, at Grancare Nursing
Center.
He was born September 21, 1919, in Granville, WI a son to the late John F. & Clara M. (Bodendoerfer) Pierner. Ray attended Custer High School in Milwaukee. At the age of 19, Ray joined the Army serving in the Infantry Division.
On August 9, 1973, he married Judith C. Lisowe.
Ray left Granville to work for Kiekhaefer Aeromarine. In 1951 he left Kiekhaefer and started employment with G & L; retiring after 32 years. After retirement, Ray did charity work for various organizations.
Survivors include his wife, Judith; his sister-in-law, Shirley (Louie) Levens of FL; his nieces and nephews, Corrine (Chuck) Ham, Chris (Michelle) Hintz, Charlene (Michael) Harmon, and Chad Hintz all of FL.
Preceding him in death were his parents; three brothers; two sisters; and his daughter.
At Ray's request, there will be no formal visitation or funeral service. Private burial services will take place at the Shrine of Rest Chapel Mausoleum at Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery in Fond du Lac.
