Remegia "Midge" M. Simon Remegia "Midge" M. Simon, age 80, formerly of Malone, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the Villa Loretto in Mt. Calvary where she resided for the past 3 years. She was born October 1, 1932 in Malone to the late Arnold & Loretta (Feldner) Simon. She worked at St. Lawrence Seminary in Mt. Calvary for 40 years. She also cooked at the Community Hall for many years. Remegia was a member of St. Isidore Parish-Holy Cross Church in Mt. Calvary. She volunteered many hours at the Villa Loretto. Survivors include her brother, Joe (Patricia ) Simon of Mt. Calvary; two sisters, Dolores (James) Knaus of Weyauwega & Mary (Douglas) Viegut of Kaukauna. She is further survived by special niece, Barbara (Tim) Lefeber; other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, Arnold & Loretta Simon; and a brother, Arland Simon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 PM noon on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at St. Isidore Parish-Holy Cross Church 308 County W Mt. Calvary, WI 53057 with the Rev. Gary Wegner OFM Cap. officiating. Inurnment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Mt. Calvary, WI. Family and friends may call at the Church on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM-11:45 AM.
