With faith in the Resurrection of Jesus, we offer our prayers for Reverend Frank N. Weber who entered etemallife on July 14, 2019, at the age of 74. Father Weber was born in Manitowoc, to Frank and Margaret (Klein) Weber. He attended Cardinal Dougherty High School, Philadelphia, PA, followed by St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, Overbrook, P A. He also attended Villanova University, Villanova, PA, for graduate studies. John Cardinal Krol, Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia ordained him to the priesthood on May 20, 1972, at the Cathedral of SS Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, PA. He served the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for nineteen years before requesting incardination in the Diocese of Green Bay. Father Weber's first appointment in the Diocese of Green Bay was Parochial Vicar of St. Bernard Parish, Appleton, in 1991. He then served as Parochial Vicar of St. Agnes Parish, Green Bay, in 1992, and at Holy Name of Jesus Parish (now Holy Spirit Parish), Kimberly in 1995. On April 15, 1997, Father Weber was incardinated in the Diocese of Green Bay. In 1997, Father Frank was appointed Pastor of Holy Rosary Parish, New Holstein, and St. Ann Parish, Saint Anna. From 2005 to 2008, he served as Chaplain of St. Paul Manor, Kaukauna. He was granted Senior Priest Status in 2014. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 18,2019, at Holy Rosary Parish, 1724 Madison Street, New Holstein from 9:30 a.m. to II :30 a.m. The Funeral Liturgy, expressing our faith and our hope in the promised glory of the Lord's Resurrection, will be celebrated at 11 :30 a.m. The celebrant will be Very Rev. Dan Felton, Vicar General, and the homilist will be Rev. Timothy Shillcox, O. Praem. Burial at Holy Rosary Cemetery will follow immediately after the Mass. All priests are invited to concelebrate. Please bring your alb; stole and chasuble will be provided. Members or the Leo Benevolent Association are asked to offer your three prescribed Masses.
