Richard Vernon Rockie Rogers, age 53, of 228 Enterprise St. Stockbridge, died on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. He was born February 14, 1957 in Schenectady, NY, son of William & Barbara (Vroman) Rogers. He married Karen Petrich on March 29, 1976 in San Diego, CA. Richard graduated from high school in Gallaway, NY and then served in the U.S. Navy. After his discharge from the Navy he was employed as a truck driver. Survivors include his wife Karen, 3 children Richard Vernon Rogers Jr. David Lewis Rogers, Barbara Kelly (Jason) Piechowski, a granddaughter Kyla Rogers, his father William (Carole) Rogers, his mother Barbara (Lewis) Tidd, 2 sisters Cretta (Don) Burchard, Loretta (Tim) Valenta, a brother William Rogers Jr., sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jean (Mark) Pritzl, Jocelynn (Gerald) Culshaw, Candyce Bera, Tina (Dave) Olsen, Jodi (Dan) Perry, Cindy Petrich, Hubert Petrich Jr., John Petrich, 2 special nephews Jordan Lino-Olp and Dylan Christie, and many other nieces, nephews and other relatives and special friends. Richard was also a big brother to Todd Nenohlo. He was preceded in death by a brother Mark and a sister-in-law Elizabeth Olp. Funeral service will be held on Monday April 5 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion. Warren Enszer Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
