Richard William Rosner, age 68, of Brillion, died on Saturday August 13, 2016 at Shorehaven Health & Rehabilitation Center in Oconomowoc. He was born on June 20, 1948 in Manitowoc, son of the late Edward and Marie (Derkes) Rosner. He married Kathryn Hinkens on October 22, 1977 in Waukesha. Richie loved Brillion and the people here. He attended many sporting events in Brillion and loved to hunt. He worked at the Brillion Iron Works for 43 years until his retirement. He loved his classic 1968 Chevelle and was a proud member of the Old Chevy Club and well as a member of Peace United Church of Christ in Brillion. Survivors include his children, Amy (Patrick) Klimek of Green Bay, Matt (Michele) Rosner of Slinger, 4 grandchildren, a sister Barbara (Kenneth) Pautz of Reedsville, a brother Jerome (Mary) Rosner of Brillion, a sister-in-law LuAnn Weihert of Watertown and 2 brothers-in-law William and Robert Hinkens both of Marinette and other relatives and very special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Kathy on February 8, 2008 and his in-laws John Hinkens and Mary Ann Hinkens. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 18th at 10:00 a.m. at Peace United Church of Christ in Brillion. The Rev. Kris Borns will officiate. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Appleton.
