Richard A. Strouf, age 68, of New Holstein, passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. He was born February 21, 1946 to the late Norman and Anna (Schlies) Strouf. On October 15, 1966 he married Karen Gudex. He worked at M-B Industries, Mirro Corp., and then Tramontina US Cookware. Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing, doing puzzle books, and feeding the birds and squirrels outside his home. He is survived by his wife, Karen; two children, Dennis (Kelly) Strouf of Chilton and Michelle Strouf of New Holstein; sisters-in-law, Ruth Strouf, Arlene Strouf, Judy (Vincent) Bradley, Barbara (Peter) Walber, Beverly (Bernie) Matheys; brother-in-law, Michael (Shelly) Gudex; and mother-in-law, Marie Gudex. Richard is further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, Norman and Anna Strouf; and two brothers, David and Denver Strouf. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Sippel Funeral Home 2618 Altona Avenue New Holstein, WI 53061. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM to 1:45 PM.
