Robert R. Bartman, 73, of New Holstein died Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls. He was born April 5, 1937 in Appleton to the late Robert F. & Marie (Krause) Bartman. Bob graduated from Appleton West High School in 1956. On May 28, 1966, he married Florence DeGroot at St. Francis Xavier Church in DePere. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein. Survivors include his wife, Florence of New Holstein; three brothers, Richard (Shirley) Bartman of Waukesha, Stephen (Lois) Bartman of San Bruno, CA, and James (Rose) Bartman of Darboy; three sisters, Kay Vandeberg of Appleton, Sandra (Norbert) DeGroot of Hoffa Park, WI, and Jeanette Richey of Appleton and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, February 25, 2011, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1724 Madison Street in New Holstein. Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Friday from 1:30 PM until the time of services.
