Robert "Bob" F. Goebel, 65, of North Fond du Lac passed away peacefully on Thursday January 18, 2018 at his home with his family. He was born November 20, 1952 in Fond du Lac a son to Elmer and Helen Gross Goebel. On October 19, 1979 he married Blanca "Norma" Martinez together they had three children. Bob grew up on a farm near Eden. He was an over the road truck driver his entire life. He enjoyed working on trucks, tractors, motorcycles and anything with a motor. Survivors include the love of his life, Christine Daane; three children: David Goebel of N Fond du Lac, Lisa (Ryan) Flood of Fond du Lac and Michael (Maria) Goebel of Richfield, MN; two grandchildren: Lydia Ann Bodart and Jaxson Robert "JR"; six siblings: Jean (Tom) Abler, Barb (Chris) Schanen, Paul (Diane) Goebel, Anne (Floyd) Parris, Patty (Steve) Schmitz and Kathy (Jim) Zimdahl, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bob is preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held Saturday January 27, 2018, 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at Frenchies Tavern, 765 S Military Road, Fond du Lac.
