Robert "Bob" J. Zorn, age 77, of Kiel, passed away Wednesday morning, December 30, 2020, at Ascension Calumet Hospital in Chilton after suffering a heart attack at his home. He was born March 14, 1943, in the Town of New Holstein near St. Anna, to the late Raymond & Lidwina (Winkel) Zorn. On May 20, 1978, he married Belinda "Lindy" Bauernfiend. Bob had worked at Kohler, owned the Zorn Standard Station in Kiel, HUI, Arps Corp, Walsdorf Roofing, M-B, and eventually to Sargento where he retired from in 2005. Bob & Lindy loved to travel; their favorite place to go was Hawaii. His pride and joy was touring around in the couple's 1967 blue Camaro convertible. Survivors include his wife, Lindy; his two children, Linda (Rene) Coto of Hagerstown, MD and Rob (Tami) Zorn of Kiel; his step daughter, Julie (Jaideep) Roy-Chowdhury of Streamwood, IL; six grandchildren, Eric (Erin) Burton, AJ (Molly) Neils, Amanda Warm (boyfriend, Mike Rouse), Zachary Zorn (girlfriend, Kailey Grohskopf), Megan Roy-Chowdhury, and Kristin Roy-Chowdhury; four great-grandchildren, Madalynn, Liam, Ava Burton, and Bennie Rouse; his sisters-in-law, Audrey Zorn, Mildred Zorn, Barbara Heiden, Bonnie Hotchkiss, and Nancy (Steve) Wheeler. Bob is further survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives; and many friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, Raymond & Lidwina Zorn; two infant children, Tammy and Cheryl; two brothers, Roger Zorn and Gerald Zorn; his father-in-law & mother-in-law, Clarence & Florence Bauernfiend; his sister-in-law, Suzanne (Dale) Diener; and three nieces, Sandy (Zorn) Gries, Cheri Diener and Lisa Hotchkiss. A Celebration of Life is tentatively being planned for March 14, 2021 (the day of his birthday). Details will be posted in early March.
