Robert H. DeBoth, age 90, of New Holstein, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021 at his home.
He was born April 30, 1931, in Fond du Lac to August & Florence DeBoth. On July 11, 1970, he married Betty Saray at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fond du Lac; she preceded him in death on February 2, 2014.
Robert served in the Air Force from 1951-1955. He enjoyed working as an engineer at Tecumseh Engine Products in New Holstein for 28 years. Robert loved flying & building his RC airplanes & boats. He was especially proud of receiving a patent on one of his many inventions.
Robert was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein.
Survivors include his two sons, Paul (Sue) Saray of Oshkosh and Dan (Teri) Saray of Oconto; his grandchildren, Michael Saray of Mercer, Melissa (Scott) Wesenberg of Oshkosh, Matthew Saray of Oshkosh, Aaron Saray of New Berlin, Jordan Saray of Oconto, Leigha Saray of Clintonville, and Ahlana Saray of Oconto; his great-grandson, Andrew Saray; his brother, Raymond DeBoth of Chicago; and many nieces; nephews; and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Betty; a sister & brother-in-law, Audrey (Leo T.) Kelley; a sister-in-law, Loretta DeBoth; and his father-in-law & mother-in-law, George & Mary Rand.
A Liturgy Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, July 23, 2021, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1724 Madison Street New Holstein, WI 53061. Military rites will be performed following services. Bob will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Fond du Lac.
Visitation: Family and friends may visit with Bob's family at Holy Rosary Church on Friday, July 23th from 10:00 AM until 11:15 AM.
