Robert "Bob" P. Feuerstein Robert "Bob" P. Feuerstein, age 84, of New Holstein died peacefully Wednesday, June 20, 2012. He was born February 10, 1928 in Two Rivers, WI to the late Frank & Selma (Rabitsky) Feuerstein. Bob graduated from Washington High School in Two Rivers, earned his B.S. degree from UW LaCrosse, and received his Master's Degree from UW Madison. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. On July 13, 1957 he married Joan Mauer at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein. He taught at New Holstein High School for 37 years. He was the basketball coach for 15 years, and served as Commissioner of the Packerland Division of WIAA for 25 years. Bob was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein, Holy Name Society, New Holstein American Legion Post 124, Catholic Financial Life, and the Wednesday morning Senior Golf League at Hickory Hills. He enjoyed his trips to the Boar's Nest where he was involved with the golf outings and spending time with his deer hunting group. Besides golfing, Bob also enjoyed gardening and reading. Bob was known to many people as "Fire". Survivors include his wife, Joan of New Holstein; his three children, Jane (Philip) Keifenheim of West Monroe, LA, Scott (Michelle) Feuerstein of New Holstein, and Julie (Brian) Krueger of Plymouth; six grandchildren, Amy & Jill Keifenheim, Skyler & Shaelynn Feuerstein, Amanda & Elizabeth Krueger; two sisters, Eunice Antonie of Manitowoc, and Ruth LeClair of Manitowoc; and numerous nieces, nephews & friends. Preceding him in death were his parents; two sisters, Bernice VanEss & SR Anthelma Feuerstein; a brother, Francis Feuerstein. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 25, 2012 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 1724 Madison Street New Holstein. Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate with Parish Director, Joe Zenk assisting. Burial in the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted by the New Holstein American Legion Post 124.
