Robert F. Schrage, age 91, of Mt. Calvary, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at his home, surrounded by family.

He was born on October 17, 1934, in Mt. Calvary, WI to the late Albert and Wilhelmina "Minnie" (Abler) Schrage.

Rob attended Mt. Calvary schools and graduated from Goodrich High School. At the age of 15, Rob began working at Schrage Brothers, marking the start of his lifelong strong work ethic.

On September 10, 1955 he married Agnes A. Gulig at St. John the Baptist Church in Johnsburg, WI.

Rob proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1954 to 1956, carrying that sense of dedication and duty throughout his life. After his service, he continued working at Schrage Brothers and later became a rural carrier for the post office in Mt. Calvary—a role that meant so much to him. He approached his work with unwavering dedication and pride, serving his community with care and commitment.

He was a member of Our Lady of the Holyland Parish in Mt. Calvary.

He found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved spending time on the golf course, refinishing furniture with care and craftsmanship, and making lasting memories with his family. He especially cherished traveling, antiquing and visiting flea markets with his late wife, Agnes—times that brought him great happiness.

Rob will be sadly missed by his children, Chris (Jenny) of Neillsville, Tim (Diane Butz) of Fond du Lac, Ted (Anne) of Chilton, Mitch (Terese Brunner) of Chilton; grandchildren: Brad, Sara (Jordan) Borgwardt, Katie, Jessica (Isaac) Hahn, Isaac (Meghan) and Parker; great grandchildren: Kinsley, Kolten, Cameron, Jackson, Malia, Patrick, Oscar, Lincoln, Charlie, and Nora; his sister, Judy (Paul) Runkel; his sisters-in-law: Cathy Gulig, Joan Fuhrmann and Janet Gulig Ahern; brothers-in-law: Andrew (Mary) Gulig, Ralph (Jackie) Gulig, Steve Gulig and David Abler.

Rob is preceded in death by his wife Agnes, an infant son, Bradley; brother, Charles (Violet), sister Myrtle, sister Helen (Sam) Schmitz, sister Margaret (Vern) Holzmann; his parents, parents-in-law, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

A Liturgy Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Our Lady of the Holyland Parish–Holy Cross Site, 308 South County Road W, Mount Calvary, WI 53057. Fr. Larry Abler will officiate. Military honors will be presented at the church during the service to honor his service in the United States Army. Rob will be laid to rest with a private burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Visitation: Family and friends may visit with the family on Saturday, April 11, from 9:00 AM until 11:15 AM at Our Lady of the Holyland Parish-Holy Cross Site.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Legion Hall of Mt. Calvary or to Our Lady of the Holyland Parish in Mt. Calvary.
