Robert Thurow

Robert H. Thurow, age 71, of Brillion, died on Saturday January 31, 2015 at Aurora Bay Care in Green Bay with his family by his side. He was born on May 16, 1943 in Brillion, son of the late Emil & Nellie (Haas) Thurow. He married Barbara Doughty on November 13, 1965 in Brillion. Bob worked as a liquor and food salesman for various companies in the area. He enjoyed traveling to Mexico with Barb and the family trips to Wisconsin Dells. Survivors include his wife Barbara, daughter Holly (Farid) Riahi, son Jason (Angela) Thurow, six grandchildren, Amira Riahi, Cody, Gavin and Natalie Thurow, step grandchildren Evan Sorenson and Annie Oakley, 2 sisters Audrey (Erhardt) Wordell and Jeannette (Dave) Boeslager, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Diana (Norm) Bastian, Terry Doughty, David Doughty, Keith (Melody) Doughty, Kim (Al) Schuh, Todd (Judy) Doughty and numerous nieces and nephews who were very close to Bob. He was preceded in death by his parents, step father John Hlavachek, mother-in-law and father-in-law Frieda and Francis Doughty, 2 brothers-in-law Dick and Don Doughty and a niece Amber Doughty. A service of remembrance will take place on Saturday, February 7 at 4:30 p.m. at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion.
