Roger "Ozzie" Lee Fonder, age 77, of Green Bay, passed away on July 12, 2014 at his residence with his family by his side. Ozzie was born on June 19, 1937 in Green Bay, son of the late Floyd and Angeline (Motiff) Fonder. He was a graduate of Premontra High School, class of 1956. Ozzie married Beverly Tebeau on September 10, 1960 at Annunciation Catholic Church. He worked at Gold Bond Ice Cream and most recently Walmart, retiring in 2003. Ozzie enjoyed bowling with Bev in their early years, making the turkey for Thanksgiving, cooking, making and having booyah parties, the Green Bay Packers, visiting good friends at Fuzzy Thurston's bar, and spending time with family. Survivors include his wife of 53 years: Bev of Green Bay; two sons and one daughter-in-law: Scott (Carol) Fonder of De Pere and Tony Fonder of Green Bay; one step-granddaughter: Heidi (Joe) Rose of Seattle, WA; step grandchildren: Kieran and Liam Rose of Seattle, WA; one sister and brother-in-law: Cheri (Richard) Seifert of Manitowoc, two sisters-in-law: Jeanne (William) Greene of Grafton and Dolly Pleshek of Greshem; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law and mother-in-law: LeRoy and Elva Tebeau, one brother: Leslie Fonder, one sister-in-law: Barb (Claude) Bowman, and one brother in law: Ronald Pleshek. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Proko Wall Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
