Roger D. Hagenow, age 71, of Brillion, died on Sunday January 25, 2014 at his home. He was born on May 24, 1943 in Milwaukee, son of the late Hilary & Loleta (Lemke) Hagenow. He married Sandra Treichel on November 19, 1966 in Morrison. Roger served in the U.S. Army Reserves and retired from the Brillion Iron Works after 38 years of service. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion. His greatest joy was his two sons, whom he was so proud of. He loved the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, trap shooting and had a passion for cutting wood to keep his family warm. He always looked forward to the annual family vacations and driving through many of the states in this great country. Survivors include his wife Sandy, 2 sons, Dean Hagenow and significant other Peggy, James (Yasuko) Hagenow, grandchildren Andrew (April) Hagenow, Hailee Marie Hagenow, great grandson Brandon, a brother Gary (Mary Ann) Hagenow, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Carol Just, Linda (Gary) Kolarik, Mike (Jane) Treichel, Bea (Pud) Ambrosius, and a step sister Marilyn (Paul) Stier and other relatives and friends. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Leah Hagenow, a brother Darryl Hagenow, his in-laws Ernest (Helen) Treichel, 2 brothers-in-law Larry Treichel and Roger Just, a nephew Leon Treichel, step father Fritz Hagenow, and step sister and brother-in-law Marjorie (Eugene) Rausch. Funeral service will be held on Thursday January 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion. The Rev. Ross Henzi will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
