Roma D. Hagenow, 96, of New Holstein died Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at the Calumet Medical Center in Chilton. She was born December 25, 1913 in the Town of New Holstein to the late Hugo and Erna Jochimsen Libke. Roma attended G. G. Mead Grade School and New Holstein High School. On June 27, 1933 she married Raymond Hagenow at St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Kiel. Raymond preceded her in death on November 6, 1994. Survivors include her four children, Darlene Hubert of West Valley, Utah, Roger (Patricia) Hagenow of Minoqua, Daniel (Donna) Hagenow of New Holstein and Warren "Scott" Hagenow and his friend Cindy of Maui, Hawaii; 22 grandchildren and further survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond; two daughters, Jean Hagenow and Dolores Backhaus and a sister, Alice Hennen. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 22, 2010, at the Sippel Funeral Home 2618 Altona Avenue in New Holstein. Burial will be in the New Holstein Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Sippel Funeral Home in New Holstein on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of services.
