Ronald R. Horton Dallmann, age 57, of Hilbert died unexpectedly on Saturday, August 28, 2010. He was born on February 9, 1953 in Appleton, son of the late Roland and Edna (Federwitz) Dallmann. He graduated from Chilton High School in 1971. Ron married Denise Wesener on November 30, 1974. He farmed until 1997 and began working at Appleton Coated Paper. Horton was a caring family man who loved to spend time with his grandkids and watch them play sports. He was also a huge sports fan and avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fish fries and homemade french fries any day of the week. He loved to spend time up north and hang out with all his buddies. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul and the Pottoul Hunting Club. Survivors include his wife Denise, his children Cathy (Robert) White of Sheboygan, Corey (Lori) Dallmann of Freedom, Kasey Dallmann and special friend Lori Schumacher of Sherwood, Kelly Dallmann of Hilbert, 4 grandchildren, Taylor, Kiara, Elijah, and Breanna, 3 sisters, Bonita (Jerry) Eickert of Brillion, Diane (Roger) Krueger of Athelstane, Debbie (Joe) Pethan of Crivitz, mother-in-law Nancy Wesener of Brillion, sisters-in-law Deborah (Dean) Geiger, Dawn (Steve) Michael, Danielle (Paul) Heraly all of Brillion, brothers-in-law, Douglas (Bonnie) Wesener of Brillion, Donald (Judy) Wesener of Chilton, Dennis Wesener of Plymouth and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Charlotte Seahawer, and father-in-law Armand Wesener. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul. The Rev. Timothy Benninghof will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion on Wed. from 3-8 p.m. and then at the church on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
