Ronald P. Kline, age 80, a resident of Kewaunee, passed away at his daughter’s home in Reedsville, Wisconsin, early Sunday morning, September 11, 2022. Ron was born on January 6, 1942, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Paul Hopkins and Mary Ethel (Gallinger) Kline.
Over the years, Ron enjoyed a great many hobbies and interests and was fortunate to turn two of these into successful businesses as owner of Professional Welding Associates and Captain of Predator Charter Services (later Predator II). He also enjoyed hunting, woodworking, fishing of all kinds, and spending time with friends over a Meyer’s and coke. A man of many skills and talents, he was known for being able to fix nearly anything, since he probably had materials stashed away in his shop for just such an occasion.
Ron leaves behind his wife, Bonnie Kline; his children: Gordon (Chris Severin) Kline, Robb (Kelly) Kline, Tamara (Chris) Branam; his step-children: Lisa (James) Hartnett, Sean (Carmen) Schipper, Angela (Tapiwa) Nyamhondoro; 12 grandchildren; special niece Diana (Steven) Prusik; and his furry canine companion, Lily. Nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends also survive.
Ron was fortunate enough to find true love more than once in his life and was preceded in death by late wives Roberta Quehl (mother to Gordon, Glen, and Robb) and Sally Kline (mother to Tamara). His parents, son Glen Kline, brother Robert Kline, and sister Joyce (Kline) Smith also passed away before him.
Per Ron’s wishes, no public services will be held. Online condolences may be made. The Pielhop Wieting Funeral Homes of Brillion and Reedsville are assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the cancer team at Bellin Hospital, especially the nurses who kept his spirit up during treatment. They would like also thank the nurses and staff of Compassus Hospice for all their care and compassion.
